The purpose for the pilgrimage from the British ruled Empire to the New World centered around the desire to live freely from the tyrannical rule of the Monarchy and establish a new system of governance. A constant oversight in the activity and the resulting impediment of colonist movement created a hostility that enabled the fuel necessary to instigate a battle against British troops.
